Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper Ann is a 3 1/2 year old spayed female who doesn't do well with children so she needs an adult only home. She likes her walks and squeaky toys.
Pepper Ann's owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Proof of enrollment in a dog obedience is required before/at the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt Pepper Ann, you must first apply. Then please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net. If you've already applied, please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net to be added to the list of those being considered. To apply on-line, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on the on-line application. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage. Please read the list at the top of the on-line application to see if you are in our area. For a rescue contact in other areas, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on Rescue Links. We have a need for volunteers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our website also features lots of great information about the rescue process, book reviews and training tips - plus the best schnauzer items for purchase! All proceeds benefit schnauzers in need. Thanks for your support!
