Blizzard's Story...
Name: Blizzard
Gender: Female
Age: 9 weeks
Breed: Shepherd Mix
Spayed: Yes
Vaccines: Age appropriate

This sweet girl is Blizzard. She and her sister Frosty were surrendered to us when the owner realized that they had too many puppies in their care. They were a little dehydrated and needed to get their vaccines and other vetting up to date. Once they saw the vet and got some fluids, they settled into their loving foster home. She is a bit shy, but is slowly opening up. She is starting to work on her potty training and puppy manners. She will do well with pretty much any family, as she is being fostered with dogs, kids and cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blizzard, a Garden City German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Garden City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
