Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It's the dog days of summer and Saving Grace wants to celebrate! Now through September 30 we are waiving the application fee for ALL dogs. Better yet, all of our dogs over one year old will have their adoption fee reduced to $175 during this special. Amber is hoping this helps her find herforever home soon!
Amber is a sweet 2 year old female Coonhound mix. She is about 50 lbs. and up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Poor Amber was not taken care of by her owners and ended up heartworm positive. But thanks to her supporters, Amber was able to get the treatment she needed and is now heartworm free!
Amber is house trained and knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw." She lives with another dog and two human sisters under the age of 10 and does great. She wanted to chase the cats at first but is learning to be respectful of them, but sometimes it's still tempting to chase them when they taunt her. Amber likes to cuddle and be around her humans. She is a happy girl who just wants a family to love.
