Hi, I’m Bonnie! Don’t let my breed fool you, I’m really a mini-St. Bernard! I’m only about 65 lbs although I’m still putting on a few pounds after coming from the shelter and ideally I’ll be about 70 lbs. I’m also not all drooly like St. Bernards can be! I’m the biggest love sponge ever. My favorite thing is to be scratched and loved on and I will sit very politely in front of you hoping that you’ll pet me! I also really love food, so much so that I’m not always super careful when I grab treats which means I’m probably not the best dog for very small children. I do get along with other dogs, but they need to understand that I am the one in charge! Calm, laid back dogs are fine by me but I don’t like when they are hyper or very playful with me. I would be perfectly happy as an only dog. I don’t mind cats as long as they get along with dogs! It scares me when they try to scratch me and I try to run away from them. Speaking of running away, I do need a fenced yard or I will chase squirrels all around the neighborhood. I don’t jump fences so a 4 ft fence is fine. I will go in a crate, but I am so good in the house that I don’t need one. I am perfectly housetrained, I have never chewed up anything, and I mostly don’t get on the furniture. I really love my dog beds and will happily sleep on those while I wait for you to come home. If you leave a bone out for me to chew, I enjoy that sometimes too. At night, I’ll sleep on my dog bed next to your bed and I’ll sleep late if you do! I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and on heartworm and flea preventative so I am ready to go home with you! Do you have extra love to share with a girl like me?
