Nyx's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nyx's Story...
Nyx is a 7 lb. 4 year old Jack Russell/chi mix. She was an owner surrender to LDRNM. She is a special needs girl with a condition that makes her legs wobble who is sweet loving, loves to be cuddled and held and loves to hang out on the couch right next to you. Her condition will not progress, and she is in no pain. Nyx would do best as an only dog or in a home with another calm dog, and she does do well with cats. She would do great in a home with lots of carpet, she can get in and out of a dog door with some help. She is a beautiful sweet lapdog all ready for her new forever home. If you would like to make Nyx part of your family, please complete an online application at www.lapdogrescue.org and be sure to include her name at the top.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nyx, a Tijeras Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
