Truman has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!

Take a moment to meet Truman! This 12.5 pound little guy was urgently removed from a shelter as his time was nearly up there. It is such a relief that we were able to bring him into ResQ because he is an absolutely phenomenal dog. This guy is housetrained, crate-trained, very intelligent and best of all, the most kissable, hugable, loveable, unbelievable snuggle-bunny that ever existed! This 3-year-old boy does fantastic on a leash for potty-time, but has also learned to use a doggy door at his fosterhome and likewise, does excellent! He seems to kind of want his people's attention as much as possible, so maybe a household with one or two other animals would be best (he's with 7 others in his fosterhome!) Also, Truman is perfectly content to hang out in an open crate and just relax during the day, which you don't often see. He's just such a good boy! We have not officially tested him with cats or children, but he is so laid back and so sweet that it is unlikely that either would pose a problem. There are no words to describe how thankful we are to have been able to save this sweetheart and help him on his way to his furever life - he is a gem for sure!
