This dog's fosterhome is located in:
****Gustine, CA****

If you want a 3 1/2 year old dog that is loving, sweet, loyal and kind, then Reggie is your man. He is a total lapdog and if he can't be in your lap, he wants to be right next to you. He could stand to gain a pound or two but is in excellent physical condition and loves to run and play with his foster brother and sisters. He loves walks and gets extra excited when you slip his harness on. His housetraining is excellent as long as he's kept on a schedule. He is learning to sit and stay and listens very well to all commands. Since he's on the small side, I wouldn't recommend him for a houseful of adults as he may get under your feet. He showed interest in ducks and chickens, so if you have a farm, he may not be the guy for you -- chasing all your birds! As for cats, he likes to track and trace them, so a cat-free home is probably best. All in all, this little guy is going to go fast. He will win you over with his love and snuggles.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reginald, a Winston-Salem Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
