Bella's Story...
Approx. birthdate: February 7, 2015. Meet Bella! Bella is fully grown and is a smaller dog, weighing 24 lbs. Bella was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, where dogs are being abandoned at an alarming rate. Luckily for Bella, she was rescued and flown to Michigan to find her forever home. Bella is a very sweet and tender dog. She is shy at first, and will take a few days to warm up and realize that she is safe in her new environment. Once she gains your trust, she will reward you with plenty of kisses. Bella is good with other dogs and cats. She is also good with kids, once she has warmed up. She is not a big barker, and she only barks when it is needed. Bella always greets you with a wagging tail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Sterling Heights Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
