Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elsa is a lovely Great Pyrenees with a very dear character and a good soul. She adores kids and loves her people....also to a fault as she is very demanding of attention, lol!.....and has a sweet, steady and gentle manner.
She is a surprisingly easy dog to have around....as long as you don't mind dog hair, lol!...... and takes up little space as she is content to laze the day away, yet also has a big personality and lots of lovable quirk.
Elsa is generally quite mannerly, but her housebreaking status is not perfect and she also is an excitement pee-er. She will need some patience in that regard and is not for the houseproud, but overall is both easy and a pleasure to have about.
If your idea of a dog is a grand looking polar bear rug who comes alight when you walk into the room and smothers you with love and snuggles, she could well be the dog for you! Strangers and company can expect the same treatment....Elsa LOVES people! She tolerates other dogs, but wants to be your one and only. We certainly will consider placement into a multi dog home, but she is not likely to be your dog's new best friend.
If you would like to know more about her, the first step is to submit an adoption application, which is available on our southpawsexpress.org website or by contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com Her adoption fee will be $450.
