Flicka's Story...
Flicka is a gorgeous, black cat with big beautiful eyes and a wonderful personality. She and her friend, Siri, are bonded to one another and are looking for a home together. We don't know much about their past, but they have a very bright future. These sweet girls are affectionate and crave attention. They are gentle and loving, but can be playful too. Both girls are a little on the chubby side so need a family that is willing to keep them on their diet and help them get back to a healthy weight.

Siri and Flicka haven't been around other pets while in our care but we suspect they will do best as 'only children' so that they can be the centre of attention in their new home. They don't seem fond of children, but may be comfortable with older, calm kids. An indoor-only home is a must for these two.

This pair is a great little duo and they'll make a wonderful addition to their new family. If you'd like to learn more about Siri and Flicka, please contact us at victoriapets@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about your family. They are loving girls who deserve a wonderful home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flicka, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
