Bear's Story...
How can you resist that face?! Little Bear is an 8 week old Shepherd/Shiba Inu mix puppy ready to start his life with his new family! His previous owners brought them in after having an accidental litter and didn't have time to care for him or his sister. Thankfully they were able to find a foster home to stay in while they grew healthy and big enough to find homes of their own. Bear is a sweet guy, and tends to follow his sister around when exploring and playing. He loves to be held! He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped. Come and see him today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Benbrook Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shiba Inu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shiba Inu for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shiba Inu puppy from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
