Tom's Story...
Tom is a 2 year old tabby boy looking for a forever home! He is a sweet boy that was brought to the rescue when his time in the shelter ran out. Tom is fairly large at 11 lbs but loves to just lay in bed and hang out with his people! He is the sweetest boy and just loves attention. Tom just kept rubbing all over me whenever I was trying to take his picture. He loves his chin rubbed and likes to share the arm of your chair as well. He does great with dogs and kids but would prefer a home without other cats. He is FIV/ Felueke NEG, neutered, fully vaccinated and dewormed. His adoption fee is only $100!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Attalla Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Attalla, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Attalla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Attalla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Attalla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Attalla paves the way for another one to be saved.
