Harley's Story...
Harley was found with his 3 siblings and their mama on the streets of Houston. Mama was very thin and hungry and trying to keep her pups safe. The mama is a Black Mouth Cur/Ridgeback mix but we do not know what breed the dad is. Mama is about 50 lbs so we expect the pups to be about the same size when they are full grown.

DOB: 12.10.15

Harley is a sweet girl and has lots of energy. Shee loves to play and run. She is good with dogs, cats and children. She is crate, doing great on potty training but still needs more training. Loves to give kisses and get belly rubs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Houston Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Houston, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
