Bowser's Story...
Hello! My name is Bowser and I am looking for the perfect forever home!

I'm a small dude, but full of spunk! I love to run outside and play, turning in circles and even 'dancing' to get the attention of humans nearby. I do get along with other dogs, though I prefer human companions to any others.

I have had my shots, I am neutered, and microchipped. I am house trained, I love kisses, and I'll do just about anything for a treat.

I do have one small issue: I don't like to have things lifted over my head. I get nervous, which isn't ever fun for anyone. Once I trust you, I seem to do better, but I definitely need some help with manners.

If you think you might have room for me in your family, contact the shelter to set up an interview!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowser, a Lake Worth Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Lake Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Lake Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
