Duchess was left on the Shelter porch one day in a cat carrier. We can only assume that she was someone's unwanted pet. Can you imagine? For 5 years experiencing life in a home and with a family, only to go for a drive one day and be left outside in the cold, alone. Duchess does ok with other cats, but prefers that they respect her space. She really is quite the regal diva, and will sing loudly for you to hear.
