Roadie's Story...
Roadie is a 4 month old, male, Rhodesian Ridgeback/ German Shorthaired Pointer mixed breed. He weighs 38 pounds. Roadie is a VERY large puppy. Roadie was surrendered due to adjustment issues. He is not an outgoing puppy.. he is very shy. We have to caryy Roadie from place to place..the only time he has relaxed is in the play yard with the little dogs. Roadie will need an experienced Large dog owner who has the space, time, funds, and energy to deal withCall for more information on adopting Roadie at The Humane Society Serving Crawford County at 419-562-9149

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roadie, a Bucyrus Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Bucyrus, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Bucyrus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bucyrus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bucyrus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bucyrus paves the way for another one to be saved.
