Baker is a male Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle mix approximately 6 years in age. He has a fine coat of curls that are snow white with apricot spots in the middle of his body and a light dusting of apricot on his ears. Baker has been professionally groomed and is low/non-shedding. He is a sturdy 15 pounds full grown with a shorter, compact body. He is wonderful inside the home and is completely housebroken. Baker is a tender, sensitive guy, who is very loving and eager to please. He is shy at first and we think he may have had a hard life prior to being rescued. Regardless, Baker has remained as sweet as pie with a heart of gold. He is a lover of peace and likes a serene, quiet environment. His most favorite thing to do is be close to his trusted humans. He is very quiet and unassuming, settling down at your feet or maybe under your chair. Baker has very few demands other than his desire for people to be nice to him and treat him with gentle kindness. He is such a love and desperately wants a family or person to call his own. He will no doubt be the most loyal pal you've ever had. Baker was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter. He is going to make an easygoing, mellow pet and companion. Baker is good with other dogs, but its people he wants to be with and he doesn't need another dog in the home to feel secure. He doesn't really seem to be interested in play as much as he is in being comfortable, safe and cozy with you. Baker is healthy, has been vet checked, and is ready for his new forever home!
Baker’s adoption donation is $375 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Baker is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
