Richmond's Story...
Little Richmond is the cutest little terrier mix, maybe with some cairn terrier in him. He is approx 1 year old and 15 lbs. He is a sweet little dog but does not like being around a lot of dogs at the same time and will bark at them. We think he is just a little scared. When he is just with a couple of dogs or a buddy he is fine, he loves attention, loves to run and play, will tug on your sleeve for attention, he is quite the precocious little boy, semi house and leash trained but not perfect. He is just the nicest little dog with a great disposition. He would like a buddy to play with and would not be a match for an apartment as he will bark when left alone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Richmond, a Norwalk Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
