Rudy's Story...
Rudy, DSH Gold neutered male, all shots current

Hi! My name is Rudy! I am a sweet, loving, playful little boy. My approximate birthdate is July, 2014. My mama cat and my four little brothers and sisters and I were rescued from behind a shopping center in Morganton NC. I have been neutered and had my shots and I am now a healthy, happy boy who loves to play and be held. In fact, I love, love, love to be held and carried around the house as much as possible. I am very sweet and gentle and I keep my claws in when I play! I love to play with my toys, and I especially love to chase my laser light toy. I am litter box trained and I only scratch on my scratching post and my special mat. I also get along very well with other cats. I’m such a good boy! If you would like to come and meet me, please call or text my Adoption Coordinator Wendy Carswell at (321) 745-9600.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Morganton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
