Ryder's Story...
This beautiful boy is named Ryder, he is what we believe to be an aussie shep/golden mix about 2 years old. He currently weighs about 45 pounds. He would do best in a home with another dog or where his people can be with him a lot. He is a bit shy with new families and will need one that will work on building his trust. Another dog in the home will really help speed that process up and show him that people will love him and care for him for the remainder of his life.

He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee covers the above mentioned medical as well as his transport fees from his rescue in Forth Worth, TX to his foster home. He is currently being fostered in Bonney Lake, WA. If you would like to meet Ryder please submit an application from the link :

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a Olympia Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
