Misha's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Misha's Story...
Misha came to us from a shelter in NC. She was part of a cruelty case, but the details are unknown. Thankfully, whatever her difficult past may have been, she has no issues because of it!
Misha has one of those so-ugly-she's-adorable faces. Her head is a little lopsided, one eye is a bit larger than the other, and her underbite is outrageous! It gives her a ton of character, though, and we think she's pretty much the cutest thing ever.
Misha has a fantastic temperament. She loves other dogs and became instant best friends with the other female boxer mix in her foster home. She is moderate energy and enjoys playing with her foster sister and fetching sticks. She also loves to cuddle and give kisses! She walks pretty well on a leash and is housetrained. She didn't show much interest in the cats she has seen, but would need to be tested further before going to a home with cats. She was excellent for the vet at her checkup and is good for handling.
Misha is heartworm negative, vaccinated, and will be microchipped and spayed before adoption. She has some mild discomfort in her back end which is being treated with medication and rest. We will explore further if it does not resolve. Email adopt@rvaboxers.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misha, a Richmond Bulldog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/Boxer for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Bulldog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/Boxer breeders who help with Bulldog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
