Smith's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Smith's Story...
Smith was surrendered for some unknown reason to a shelter in SC. He went immediately to the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. We rescued him just in time. He is heart worm negative, fully vetted, and ready for his forever home. Smith is great with other dogs, rides well in the car, and doesn't particularly like a bath but will tolerate it! Contact us if you would like to meet Smith.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smith, a Summerville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Summerville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Summerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Summerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Summerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Summerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
