Marcy's Story...
ADOPT ME.....Marcy is a 5-month old DSH grey tabby. She has a really pretty pattern in her fur and is sweet little girl. Very friendly with people but not fond of other cats. She loves to play and loves to chase the laser light. Once she tires out from playing, she likes to be held and cuddled. Marcy has only been in the adoption center for a couple days and is a bit timid in her new surroundings. She just needs a little time to settle in and come out of her she'll. Marcy is looking for a forever home where she can be the queen as she does not like other cats.

You can adopt Marcy at the Petsmart in Lake Forest. Adoption events are held every Sat/Sun, 12–3:00p.m. All other times, please call 949-829-0036 for an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcy, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
