He's got legs and he knows how to use them..... Sheppard is a true hybrid. We can only guess he has some type of Terrier but what else is your guess as good as ours.
Currently housed with several other canine and some felines, he is a happy go lucky guy. Loves to be with you and watch television or outside while you do yard work. Spends his time plying with the other younger canines running in and out the dog door. Sleeps with a long time volunteer but will occasionally sleep with foster mom.
Does take a little time to adjust to new people but when he likes you, you will know!
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a 'special' area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
