So many times our precious boy Blaze would awake and lift a weary head. No warm bed, no family, no food....no nothing. The shelter was probably the safest place he had been in some time and he could have ended up just another shelter statistic. But he didn't. He did not go down....he got OUT! It was a beautiful wonderful GLORIOUS day for a handsome 18 month old 38 lb white, black, and tan heeler mix we call Blaze. This boy has done nothing but smile and walk with a happy bouncy step ever since. Blaze is a smart well behaved pup who loves to be around people and is great with all of his foster fur siblings of all ages and sizes (and there are several). Foster mom says he ignores the cats for the most part but he likes to watch them. Blaze is crate and house trained but we do like to remind potential adopters that pups do need time to learn new routines. His foster mom thinks he is awesome. He is great on leash and knows some basic commands like sit. He catches on pretty quick so with time and a few treats we believe he would love to learn even more between smiles and happily bouncing around. Blaze loves to play fetch and thinks toys are about the greatest thing on Earth (next to people of course). Our joyful guy is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. He is ready to move on in a blaze of glory to a permanent forever loving family and home. We think this cutie will 'blaze' a trail right to your heart. Soooo are you ready to do some trailblazing....with Blaze?
