My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FF Godfather, Vito, is a wonderful, happy almost ‘perfect’ dog. He is 2 ½ years old, never had a racing career, as he had a badly broken hock early on. His owner opted to have it fixed and asked if we would place the dog. His cast is off and he is now undergoing PT. He will need to continue PT and will need some special exercises in his forever home. He’s sure going to make someone an extraordinary pet! From his foster mom: Vito is doing well in PT and is agreeable and friendly with the Veterinarians and staff. He would love a home with other hounds and humans who aren't away for long periods of time. He has proven himself to be house trained and has never soiled in my home. Vito is a velcro dog and loves to follow his person around from room to room. He is more than curious, he's nosy! I show him everything I am doing and that makes him happy. Vito sleeps in his dog bed right beside my bed. He is now sleeping all night but, will wake up during the night to whine and be cuddled until he gets sleepy again. He loves toys and spending time with people.
