Munchkin's Story...
Chaos and Munchkin are a “bonded pair” who were surrendered to us by a man who had just recently lost his wife. Due to his job requirements which require him to travel a lot, Chaos and Munchkin entered out foster program. This duo is as SWEET as can be!! Chaos is a 10 lbs shih tzu/brussels griffon mix and Munchkin in a 10 lbs chihuahua mix. Chaos and Munchkin are both 2-3 years old and have always been together, so we would like them to be adopted together as well. Chaos can be a bit timid at first, but he quickly gets over that! He loves people and loves to give kisses. And just like Munchkin, he gets along great with other dogs! Munchkin is also a super sweet girl who loves to cuddle and sleep under the covers, not matter how hot it gets! These who babies love each other and have a ton of love to share with others. If you are interested in adding Chaos and Munchkin to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application. Chaos and Munchkin are in foster care with children, dogs, and cats in West TN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchkin, a Staunton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
