Charlie's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a guy's guy. He loves attention but can be nitpicky when it comes to his kitty friends. He'd be a great only cat for a bachelor! He's a laid back hunk of a cat most of the time and he's super sweet and friendly.

Charlie is about four years old and is FIV positive. But wait, don't let FIV scare you! FIV really isn't that big a deal. Most cats with FIV live long, normal lives when they are well cared for and kept current on vaccines. Charlie is a very healthy cat.

Charlie's adoption fee is $35. Please email waywardwhiskerscatrescue@hotmail.com to make an appointment if you'd like to meet Charlie or any of the other amazing cats at Wayward!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a San Antonio Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
