Miss Tiger Lily's Story...
Miss Tiger Lily, a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound mix, was found abandoned and wandering the streets in Miami Beach. She was picked-up by a good Samaritan so that she wouldn't have to go to the shelter. She was very shy at first, but with the love of her foster, she is now friendly and outgoing. She loves other dogs and enjoys and needs lots of exercise. Please contact us at (305) 450-2033 if you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Tiger Lily, a Ocean Ridge Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound for sale in Ocean Ridge, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Ocean Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocean Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocean Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocean Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
