Well hello everyone, my name is Big Red, and I'm a very well-mannered, loveable kitty. I love to spend all of my time hanging and playing with people. I especially love when they give me attention and affection, and you'll know when I want some attention because I'll start rubbing up against you and talking to you. If you are looking for a lap cat that likes to cuddle up next to you, then I would be more than happy to be the cat for you, because I love to sit on people's laps and have someone scratch me under my chin. While setting on your lap I will even give you a few kisses on your chin. Even though I love to receive attention and affection from people, I also enjoy spending some of my time playing with toys such as bouncy balls, strings, fuzzy mice, and laser lights. In my previous house, I lived mostly as an indoor cat, so as a result, I am completely litter box trained. In addition, in my previous house, I lived with another cat that was my litter mate and was friendly and play with him. However, whenever I see another dog, I become very scared, so I think that I would do best in an environment where there are only cats. I'm a very independent cat and like doing things on my own, but I still love to please people. In fact, I have learned some words like out, eat, no, let's go see and when I hear this I will show you what I want, and finally, when I'm in your lap and I hear you tell me turn around and sit down, I will do just that. I am in the rehoming program, so I am not at the shelter, however, if I sound like the perfect match for you and your family, then don't hesitate to call up here so we can get the process going.
