Because of LuLu's upbringing, she has a few personality "quirks" that her family will need to understand. She can be wary of strangers and new people in the house. With her history of being the guard dog at her camp where people may not have always been safe, you can understand why. She needs to get to know you before she will trust you but once she knows you, she'll never leave your side. She is highly prey driven and may have had to catch her own food in the past so she should not be around any small animals or cats. She can also jump high fences to try to escape. She would do best in a home with a large backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence. She does well with other dogs but they must allow her to be dominant. She would be find with a home with older children, but no younger kids as they are likely too playful for her.
If you think you could be the special home that this fantastic girl deserves, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. LuLu is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $175.
