My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.

Ash is an adorable terrier mix puppy, probably about 11 to 12 pounds and less than a year old.

He is a super friendly and snuggly little guy who thinks the best place in the world is close by your side or in your arms. He passes all the puppy tests with flying colors. You can pull on his velvety soft ears all you want, roll him over for tummy rubs, pick him up, cuddle him, whatever! The more attention, the better. In fact, he is probably the type of puppy who might get lonely pretty easily so he would be best in a home with another pup as a playmate and in which people were home fairly often.

Ash has the cutest scruffy face and a slightly wiry coat. His breed is a total mystery to us; we just know he is cute as a button!

He is a good boy in his crate and has not shown any marking behavior inside so maybe he lived in a good home before being abandoned to a county shelter.

As far as tricks and such, he does seem totally untrained and is just a joyful, wide open puppy who bounces around looking for love and fun! However, he does learn very fast.

You can see him posing for his pictures on the blue blanket. At his photo session, he learned in a matter of minutes that, if he stayed on the blue blanket and held still, he got treats. If he left the blue blanket, no treats. So, guess where he posed so nicely??

He should be super easy to train and he definitely aims to make you happy! He has never been on a leash so will need your patient training while he learns that leash walks are wonderful.

Darling Ash is good with other dogs though, of course, he still acts like a nutty puppy so he would enjoy a tolerant playmate in his new home.

He should fit in well in most any household but we are really hoping for a companion dog and a family that has plenty of time for an energetic, enthusiastic puppy who will need plenty of walks, play and training.

Ash promises to love, love, love you and cuddle with you as much as you want!
