This is Nugget aka Pappas.  He's approximately 3 years old but has already had a rough life, but you sure wouldn't know it as he's such a very sweet and laid back boy.  For 1.5 years he was a stray cat living in a parking lot in Carson, CA.  Nugget finally got an offer from a cat rescue in Northern California to take him in and get rehomed, but then was lost by the pet transporter driving him up north the morning of transport. He was missing in a remote area of Palmdale, CA for 3 months until he was found.  It truly was a miracle that brought him back to safety!  Nugget just was not meant to be a stray cat no longer!  Shortly after Nugget was found, he thankfully got a wonderful foster offer in Pomona, CA.  His foster family adores him and he gets along great with all of his furry foster cat siblings as well.

Nugget is approx. 3 years old, Grey and White Tabby with beautiful yellow eyes, neutered, current on vacs, microchipped, FIV positive (not contagious to humans or dogs; contagious to other cats ONLY if deeply bitten and blood is exchanged...such as when unfixed feral cats are fighting...not when domesticated cats are play fighting). Many cats with FIV live long healthy normal lives but should be kept indoors only.  Nugget is very people/kid/cat friendly, unknown with dogs but we anticipate he would do well with them also as long as he's not chased. He does great on car rides and loves to look out of the car window.... but of course with the windows always closed!  Nugget just loves the simple life and to hang out with you and have a conversation... he's a talker!  If you think this cute little nugget may be a good fit for your family, please contact Debbie Bobshosky at lildebpark@yahoo.com.

About 4Life Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our furry friends come to us in a variety of ways – the streets/strays, owner surrenders, with most of them coming from our local shelters.

Every animal brought in to the 4Life Family is given 100% from us to ensure they are healthy and happy. Like people, no two animals are the same. More often than not, when a new animal comes to us, it takes time to learn who they are, what they like (and who they like) and do not like. We do our best to learn the animals personality, get them on the right path with good manners and basic obedience training, and nurture and love them so their little personalities can shine. There is nothing quite like a happy, healthy, well behaved rescue pet!

Our Adoption Process...

*Adoption Application
*Home check
*Adoption contract
*Non-Negotiable adoption fee ranging from $200 to $300
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical – All 4Life animals are
up-to-date on vaccinations including Rabies, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and flea control. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and well being of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but, your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.

*Supplies – Food, leash and collar, treats, blankets, toys, bathing/grooming products
*In some cases, animals may need to be boarded or go in to a training program. Again, these costs will never be passed on to the adopting family, but a portion of your adoption fee will help us recover some of the cost.
