Lucy's Story...
Morning canine lovers! My name is Lucy and I am in need of a loving family who can shower me with kisses and hugs. I do well with other dog, cats, and adore children! I am great on the leash, but house training is unknown due to me being in an outside kennel. I would love a home where I can snuggle in a nice warm bed and listen for my name being called by a family member as it is time for me to take a walk or play ball. I am one of the sweetest little ladies you can not resist.

If you are unsure and would like to do a meet n' greet please don't hesitate. Contact the Animal Control Assistant at (501) 414-4064 for more details on the adoption process.

Act quickly to adopt Lucy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Mayflower Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Mayflower, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mayflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mayflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mayflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mayflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
