This 10 y/o boy is all beagle. He loves his treats, and his food, and had probably not missed too many meals before starting out on his journey. Grant is a standard 15 inches and weighs 40 pounds. He has a solid, muscular body so will never be skinny! He does get around slowly from some arthritis, so will need joint supplements the rest of his life.
Grant is housebroken with excellent house manners. He gets along well with all the other dogs at his foster home and has no problem with children. His favorite place to be is burrowed in a blanket on the floor. Grant has that laid back personality that is so nice to share a home with. He is easy going and never demanding of your attention, but dearly loves a good belly rub. He loves to be close to you and will follow you from room to room and will settle next to you when you are still.
Grant is quit the character when it come to meal time. He gets very excited and will entertain you with his cute beagle bay while you dish up his meal. He will also great you when you get up in the mornings and when you return home with his beagle bay. Grant can be a bit vocal, so homes with shared walls will probably not work for Grant.
Grant loves his daily walk and gets very excited when the leashes come out. He doesn't walk fast, but takes his time to smell as much as possible. He can walk about 2 blocks before getting tired. This boy deserves a family who will love on him and keep him healthy and safe. Please come and meet this boy soon!
