Roxy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Roxy's Story...
Roxy is an energetic happy dog that was born in 2009 and she arrived at Animal Lifeline when her owner passed away and there was no place for Roxy to go. Roxy loves to go on walks and play in the yard. She is currently on a diet as she is about 10 to 15 pounds overweight. Roxy is housetrained and kennel trained. She has been around other dogs, but would probably not do well in a household with cats or young children. If you are looking for a walking partner, Roxy may be your gal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Des Moines Alaskan Malamute/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute/Cattle Dog for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
