Meet Angel. This poor girl was brought to our vet by her owner for our spay/neuter program. She was emaciated, mangy, had eye ulcers and a tick borne illness, non contagious. We tried to convince the owners to surrender her to us but they wouldn't. Later on she was brought back to the vet as she had wounds on her neck from an embedded collar and wounds on her shoulders. We think that she might have been used for breeding for pitbull fighting. Luckily for Angel, the owners this time did not return to claim her. She has recovered from all her injuries and illnesses and is healthy and happy and gorgeous. She has left all the ugliness behind now and just needs to find her forever home.
Angel is a very, very sweet girl who is just happy to eat and sit/stand by her people. She would probably do best as an only child due to her years of neglect and living on a chain. She is currently being fostered in an apartment and doing well there. She also rides well in a car. She weighs around 55 lbs. All she wants and is looking for is a loving furever permanent home.
