Gilbert is a volunteer favorite! And it's easy to see why. He's a sweet-natured boy who's all wiggles all the time. It's his way of showing how excited he is to be with his human friends.
Always friendly, he is full of enthusiasm, approaching his people with full body wiggles to say hello. And he's quite food motivated, having learned that obeying the 'sit' command earns him a treat.
A curious boy, Gilbert makes good eye contact with his people, especially when he can sit at their feet and gaze up adoringly at them. He's great on leash and loves to go for long walks where he can investigate the world around him. He could probably go home with a well-matched dog sibling, but he'd also do just fine as your one-and-only.
Gilbert is an endearing boy who will be a wonderful companion in a home with adopters who will give him love, attention and continued help with his training. And a yard, daily walks and a comfy bed will round out his perfect home. Come meet this sweetheart today!
Remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team. And when you adopt a dog from APA, you are saving not one, but two lives - the life of the dog you're bringing into your home, and the next dog APA can save in the adopted dog's place.
