Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ophelia came to HOGPR, literally by accident. Ophelia, dragging a large chain, ran into traffic in front of one of our volunteers car. It's likely she'd lived her 2-3 years on that chain. Ophie has since been spayed, is undergoing heartworm treatment and has blossomed into a lovely dog. Ophelia is very sweet and gentle. She loves to be in her Foster Mom's lap, loves to go for walks, chase rabbits and squirrels, go for car rides and bones. She loves a good bone to chew. Ophie does not chew anything else in the house. So, your shoes are safe. Ophelia is crate trained, house trained and rarely barks. She does do a happy dance when she sees the leash or it's time to eat. Once off activity restriction due to her heartworm positive status, this girl will likely make a great hiking or running companion. Ophelia has not been around other dogs or cats in her foster home, but likely will be okay with dogs. Not sure about cats. A home with older (8+) children would be best due to Ophie's propensity for lap sitting. This girl has lots of love to give and is ready for a forever family.
