Sherman's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sherman's Story...
At only 16lbs, Sherman is small, but mighty! Sherman survived the first three years of his life on a chain, and is now enjoying all of the luxuries that being loved and cared for comes with. Sherman is active and energetic, and would love a home where he can enjoy his new-found freedom by going on long walks, playing, and getting in lots of cuddles. He REALLY loves his toys, so we recommend Sherman go home with children 8 years and up who would understand how to appropriately play with him. Sherman does well with dogs AND cats--what a catch! Stay tuned for more updates on this sweet Yorkie/Norfolk terrier mix.

Sherman is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Richmond Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Norfolk Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
