My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brownie is a beautiful and sweet, 16-pound, three-year-old, chocolate female Poodle looking for a loving guardian.

This adorable girl was found stray in Chicago. Her original family has not been found, so she is now living in a loving foster home until she is adopted.

Brownie is living with a German Shepherd-mix, a pointer and a cat and has been doing well with all of them. Although she may want to play with the cat, more than the cat wants to play with her.

Brownie is an adorable lap dog who shadows her foster mom. She is nervous at first, so she is looking for a patient dog-lover without small children. She will snap at small children who pull on her ears, tail, or chase her around. But with calm adults, she is wonderful.

While she is very intelligent and curious, she does not know any specific commands yet. She is crate-trained and mostly housebroken.

Brownie is very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm-tested. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting her, please fill in the online application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s.

Brownie is currently living in a foster home. To ask specific questions, you can contact her foster mom Sandra at sgonzalez@murray.com or 312-479-4151.
