About Michele's Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Michele's Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue as of Sept. 2009! I have been doing rescue as early as 1997 and have found my place in life with animals and animal rescue. Michele's Rescue is currently adopting kittens, cats, puppies, dogs and some small animals in need of placement of permanent homes. I help other rescues with overflow, home visits and fostering as well as transporting of animals from shelters to breed specific rescues. Michele's Rescue has several volunteers who help with adoptions every weekend at Petco. Petsmart, ChowHound, Tractor Supply and Pet Supply Plus due to the overpopulation in West Michigan. I am also proud to say that I am the founder of the West Michigan Spay and Neuter Clinic in Fruitport, Michigan! If you have any questions you can contact me here, We are also on Facebook! Our Adoption Process...

We require you to be of age 21 and older to adopt otherwise parents must fill out the adoption contract. The adoption fee for cats is $70.00 which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, Microchip, wormer, tested and Frontlined. Dogs are 180.00 and lower to 150.00 if dogs are 4 years and older. Dogs also are heartworm tested and rabies (age appropriate). We ask that the animal be returned if the animal does not work out for you in any way, no questions asked for the animals return. We also provide the same services as if you were to find a free animal. We will also provide a free Spay/Neuter to all dogs and cats that have offspring as long as the offspring are given up to the rescue. This is to ensure no pet is given away or sold unaltered.
