Loki's Info...

Loki's Story...
*Single male leopard gecko
*Special Needs
-Loki is a gorgeous, large leopard gecko who has some special needs due to early nutritional problems from a previous owner. His front feet curl inwards, causing him to have problems with his molts, so you have to help him with his feet sometimes using a moistened q-tip. Loki is a good boy, though he can nip on occasion when being picked up or when you are trying to help him with his skin. When you aren't bothering him in a way he deems annoying, he'll let you hold him and is perfectly fine wandering around on you. He's a good boy and just needs an experienced gecko owner. Adoption fee is $30 which includes him, all his supplies and his 10 gallon tank.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki, a Edinburg Gecko was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Gecko for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Gecko from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Gecko breeders who help with Gecko rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
