I was rescued from the River Rouge animal shelter. I was in pretty rough shape and needed some help. I could barley used my back legs, so the volunteers at the shelter knew I needed help fast! My foster parents came to get me and rushed me to the animal neurological hospital where I got an MRI and a spinal tap to see what was going on. It was discovered that I had what looked to be an infection in my spine. So I have been on antibiotics since then, along with anti inflammatory meds.
The doc said it can take up to 12 months for this to clear up. Also, when I was neutered they removed a lump that came back to be mass cell cancer. But you wouldn't know it cuz I'm doing great!! I can run around with my foster brothers and sisters and I'm just the happiest boy around! You would never know that the vet said I was about 8 years old! I have had a rough life to start I have scars to prove it, but I still LOVE people! I am spoiled in my foster home, but I would love to spend my golden years in my forever home :-)
