Annie is another amazingly sweet, sweet, sweet girl in rescue. There just isn't a thing or puppy that ruffles her feathers. She is an older girl and was dumped in the country for unknown reasons - maybe her family went to a nursing home? She has been pampered and loved that's for sure. Annie has just had surgery to remove a fatty tumor and is recovering very well. As Annie has been in rescue and in a foster home we discovered she is epileptic and is on medications. She's doing well and the seizures are being controlled. She is looking for a great home that will take on any medical needs she may have in the future and love her through them as much as she loves in return.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a San Antonio Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
