Hi, my name is Mikey and I am looking for a new forever home. I am really a very sweet guy once I am comfortable with you. I am shy to start out and take a little time to warm up. Once my confidence builds up, I am very fun-loving and entertaining. I need a home with a family that has lots of doggie understanding.

Though I start out shy, I can be a bit dominant with other dogs and small animals. I am a little dog that thinks he’s big. Because I need some extra time to acquaint with my people, I probably wouldn’t do well in a house with very young children. Older kids who are gentle and understanding would be ok.

I love stuffed animals, and chew bones, and lying in the warm sun. My favorite thing is snuggling with my human friends when you watch TV and playing with my other furry friends. If you have the love and patience to give, I will be a devoted friend and member of your family.
