Meet Molly!! Molly is a friendly 8 year old sweetie-pie. Molly was surrendered to the NHS with her lifelong friend Spot due to their owner no longer being able to care for them. Spot and Molly were originally found as strays many years ago and were taken in and loved for 8+ years. Molly is a little shy and new to the cat adoption room, but loves attention and cuddles. Molly's adoption fee is $120.00 which includes her being spayed, up to date on vaccinations, de flead, de wormed, and microchipped. Come in and meet Molly today!

The Northumberland Humane Society is a non-profit organization that provides shelter for the unwanted and abused or neglected animals of Northumberland County. We care for these animals until they find the right homes to be adopted into.

The Northumberland Humane Society is located at 371 Ward Street Port Hope, Ontario. All of our animals are up for adoption and ready to find loving homes, you can drop by any time to visit with them. Our Hours are Monday through Saturday 11am to 4:00pm. You can also inquire by email, phone or check us out online.

Our Adoption Process...

Here at the shelter we have an application process, which requires you to fil out an application and a vet release. These two forms allow us to get to know a bit about you and your home life as well as pets that you have or have had in the past.
Our adult dogs cost $200.00, puppies are $250.00, adult cats $120.00 and kittens are $160.00. The price includes the animal's spay or neuter, the animal's 1st vaccinations, de-worm, de-flea, and a rabies vaccination if of age.
