Hi! Meet Charley-
Charley was a stray that was found and brought to a vet. They reached out for a rescue and we took him on valentines day.
He is very shy and takes him awhile to warm up, after all this time he still does not like to be held, (Some cats never do) but he will come to you when he wants to be pet.
Charley does love to talk rather loudly sometimes.
He will need a cat tree as he likes to be up high.
He is symptomatic FIV+. Sadly, he basically will continue to have episodes and sometimes will have to go to the vet for treatment if his temp gets high.
He does not mind other docile cats or gentle dogs. He is a very friendly kitty.
He would do good with an older person or someone that will have the time to care for him when he is sick. Best to place him with other FIV+ cats or alone. (FIV is not contagious to humans, or dogs)
I would love to find a home of my own very soon. If you have questions about FIV, just ask. My foster mom is happy to share with you.
Do you think I might be a match for you?
