L.L.Bean (“Bean”) was picked up as a stray. We believe that he had been out on his own for a long time because he is very distrustful of humans. He will sniff you, but he needs you to be patient and to allow him to come up to you on his own. The more time you spend with Bean, the faster your friendship will grow. Bean is living in a foster home right now and receiving the training that he lacked since he was a puppy. He is a smart boy, likes other dogs and chewing on soft toys and antlers. Bean has just begun walking on a leash and meeting new people. He walks slowly, but is doing well. Bean has the potential to being someone’s best friend, faithful companion, and all around good dog. Bean needs a fenced yard and a dog companion that is confident. The other dog in the house has to love people and demonstrate that love for Bean to see and copy.
L.L.Bean weighs 35 lbs. and his estimated birthdate is 1/7/2015. His adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees]. If you want to know more about L.L.Bean and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application.
