L.L.Bean (“Bean”) was picked up as a stray.  We believe that he had been out on his own for a long time because he is very distrustful of humans.   He will sniff you, but he needs you to be patient and to allow him to come up to you on his own.  The more time you spend with Bean, the faster your friendship will grow.  Bean is living in a foster home right now and receiving the training that he lacked since he was a puppy.   He is a smart boy, likes other dogs and chewing on soft toys and antlers.   Bean has just begun walking on a leash and meeting new people.  He walks slowly, but is doing well.   Bean has the potential to being someone’s best friend, faithful companion, and all around good dog.

L.L.Bean weighs 35 lbs. and his estimated birthdate is 1/7/2015.  His adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees].   If you want to know more about L.L.Bean and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application.   Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

About Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters

About Our Rescue Group...

Furkids/SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society, Inc. is a 501c)(3), tax-exempt organization dedicated to find loving families for homeless dogs in the Atlanta area. Every year, over 90,000 animals are killed in Georgia shelters. Our volunteers rescue many dogs from local shelters and foster them in their own homes until a suitable forever home is found. We do not shy away from taking sick or difficult dogs into our program. Thanks to donations, we are able to provide excellent medical care for all of our little orphans. Our volunteers work tirelessly on training, socializing, and giving the dogs all of the loving care that they so much deserve. Thanks to our friends and supporters, we have been able to save many lives in each of years. It is caring individuals like you who can make a difference in the lives of our wonderful orphan animals. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and come visit us at Petco in Sandy Springs, every Saturday from 12 noon til 4 pm.
