Scrappy's Story...
"Scrappy" is a very handsome 8 year old Yorkie. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, crate trained & housebroken. Scrappy is a love bug, laid back & loves to be on your lap. He's attentive & wants to give kisses. He's good with other dogs & cats, & everyone he meets. Scrappy will be ready to go to his furever home after he's had a dental cleaning. Scrappy only has 1 eye - but we do not consider this a handicap - as he gets along just fine & this is nothing that requires any sort of care or attention.

Scrappy is currently in a foster home - if interested in meeting/adopting him, please visit our website to get the process started: humanesocietysnap.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy, a China Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in China, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in China.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in China already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a China breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in China paves the way for another one to be saved.
